Douay Rheims Bible Containing The Old And New Testament 1847 in Good Condition:

This is a fantastic 1847 copy of the Douay Rheims Bible containing the Old and New Testaments.
What make this Bible special is the approval by Thomas Walsh, the Bishop of Cambysopolis and Nicholas Wiseman, the Bishop of Melipotamus.
Thomas Walsh was the first Archbishop of Westminster after the reinstatement of the hierarchy of the Catholic Church in the UK. Unfortunately he pass away 1 year after taking this role. His successor was the Nicholas Wiseman that was the co-adjutor who also approved of this Bible.

This Tome is 100% legible and seems rarely used.

The Herbert Catalogue identifies this bible but no corresponding ID number attached to it. It can be found on page 392.
