16th Century Music Sheet Leaf Belonging To An Antiphonary,:
1 original sheet, very thick, made of fine parchment (2 pages), extracted from an ancient antiphonary belonging to a cathedral.
The work from which this page is taken was presumably printed around the middle of the 16th century, and unfortunately, it has been possible to recover only a few sheets, as the others were destroyed and lost.
The page presented here features some finely coloured initials printed in red ink at the time of printing and a superb historiated initial engraved in copper.
